1. About These Terms
ShiaEdu is a UK-based online Shia Quran and Islamic education platform operating at shiaedu.com. Our address is 15 Blandford Street, Marylebone, London, W1U 3DG, United Kingdom. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and services. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Our Services
ShiaEdu provides live, one-to-one and group online Quran and Islamic education classes via video platforms. Our courses include Quran reading, Tajweed, Hifz, Shia Aqaid, Fiqh Jaffari, and more. All sessions are conducted by qualified tutors who have been vetted by our academic team.
3. Enrolment and Free Trial
Every new student is entitled to one free trial class before committing to any paid plan. This trial is designed to help you assess the tutor's teaching style and confirm the course is the right fit. Enrolment into a paid plan is only confirmed once payment has been received.
- Students must be enrolled through our official website or WhatsApp channel
- Parents or guardians must provide consent when enrolling students under 18
- ShiaEdu reserves the right to decline enrolment at its discretion
4. Fees and Payment
Course fees are listed on our Fees page and are subject to change with prior notice. Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle. We accept payment via bank transfer and other agreed methods. Failure to pay on time may result in suspension of classes until the outstanding amount is settled.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that life is unpredictable. Students may cancel or reschedule a class with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Classes cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be counted as attended. Tutors who cancel without sufficient notice will reschedule the missed session at no additional cost to the student.
6. Student Conduct
ShiaEdu is a respectful Islamic learning environment. All students, parents, and guardians are expected to:
- Treat tutors and staff with courtesy and respect at all times
- Attend sessions punctually and come prepared
- Refrain from recording sessions without explicit written consent from ShiaEdu
- Not share login credentials or session links with unauthorised persons
ShiaEdu reserves the right to terminate enrolment for conduct that is disrespectful, abusive, or contrary to Islamic values.

8. Limitation of Liability
ShiaEdu provides its services in good faith and strives for the highest standard of Quranic and Islamic education. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to online sessions due to factors beyond our control, such as internet outages or third-party platform issues. In such cases, affected sessions will be rescheduled promptly. Our liability is limited to the value of the affected class.
9. Privacy
Your use of ShiaEdu is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By enrolling, you confirm that you have read and understood our privacy practices.
