Making authentic Shia Quran education available to learners worldwide — guided by the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (AS), delivered by experienced Shia tutors, and open to families anywhere on earth.
ShiaEdu is a Shia online Quran academy with a clear purpose: to make authentic Shia Quran education available to learners worldwide through the internet. We believe every Muslim has the right to study the Holy Quran, understand its message, and be connected to the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (AS) under the guidance of committed and competent instructors.
Across the globe, and particularly for Shia Muslim families living away from their home country, it has not always been easy to find qualified instructors who teach the Quran based on authentic Shia principles. ShiaEdu was founded to fill this gap. Families can now receive quality Shia Quran teaching from experienced tutors within a clear, structured plan, wherever they live.
For many of our families the biggest worry is simple: “Will my child be taught the Quran the way we believe?” Every course here is built around Shia belief and practice, from the Aqaid lessons to the way Namaz and Duas are taught. If your family has been searching for that, you are in the right place.
The ShiaEdu online Quran platform brings balance to the relationship between the student and the teacher — enabling personalised, one-to-one live learning from the comfort of any home, in any timezone, anywhere in the world.
☝️ Get in Touch with UsTo create a global learning community that promotes the understanding of the Quran and the teachings of Islam in accordance with the Ahlulbayt (AS). Authenticity in every lesson. Patience with every student. Respect for every family. At ShiaEdu, we combine traditional Islamic learning with modern online technologies to make Shia Islamic education accessible globally — regardless of geographical location, age or level.
At ShiaEdu, our team of tutors teaches a range of Quran and Islamic studies courses designed to help students understand the teachings of Islam rooted in devotion to the Ahlulbayt (AS). You can read about each one on our courses page.

Every student starts with a free trial class. The tutor listens to the student read, asks a few simple questions and then suggests where to begin. A child who has never opened the Quran starts with the Arabic letters, while an adult who already reads can move straight to Tajweed or translation.
After that, lessons are live and one to one over video call, on days and times that suit your family. The tutor sets small goals each week and gives short practice for the days in between, so progress is steady and not rushed. Parents are welcome to sit nearby and listen.
When you are ready to continue, you choose the number of days a week that fits your routine. The fees page lists every monthly plan, and the admissions page explains the steps from the first message to the first lesson.
We want children and adults to know what they recite. That is why translation, Aqaid and Fiqh Jaffari sit beside Tajweed and Hifz in our plans.
Families are different, and so are students. We listen first, then suggest a pace and a course that suit the child, the home and the timetable.
The strength of ShiaEdu lies in its dedicated team of Shia Quran teachers online. Our tutors are chosen for their knowledge, their teaching experience and their commitment to authentic Islamic education rooted in the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (AS).
Each teacher is trained to provide structured lessons while giving personal attention to every student — guiding learners step by step to improve their Quran recitation, Tajweed, memorisation and understanding of Islamic teachings.
Families can ask for a male Shia Quran tutor or a female Shia Quran tutor. Sisters and girls often feel more at ease learning with a woman, and we are glad to arrange that.
Students from many countries join ShiaEdu. Our online Quran classes let them learn from the comfort of home with the guidance of Shia tutors who understand their culture and their questions.
You can see how classes work in each country on our countries page, where we list the places we teach and the time zones we plan around.
